Post Numero Dos. Moving out. the big step.

So, as i Mentioned (sp?) in previous posts i am moving away from home. infact, i am moving out tommorow. I am SO stressed out.

My friends tell me that i should look at it as a possitive not a negative but they are missing the point....the point is a $250 damage deposit. things are gonna be tight for a couple of weeks. I also have new expenses, groceries, personal hygene stuff...etc...

see, this is how AS affects me. I am not stressed about moving out. i am stressed about the change in routine. I alof a sudden have to re-write my budget, my schedule, deal with more city traffic, and new people. the fact that i am leaving home is the least of my worries (although the gas and time it takes to move all my stuff is not)

but i think after a month it shoudl all work out....

new update about my laptop.

I have to wait three months because i did not get aprovved for enough financing. after the three months i will have enought saved up with my exsisting finacing or i will have been working in one place long enough to get aproved for the whole nine yards....

but we will see what happens.....the wheel weaves as the wheell wills...

Post Numero Uno, All about The Joke.

Ok. so at work we have a running practical joke.

Now this requires a bit of setup.

First thing you need to know is that at work we use propane powered Forklifts.
Second, every one is very easy going.

Ok then, The joke is to turn off some one elses propane without them noticing. that way they are driving along and all of a sudden their forklift dies. :D

ok,

So 'Phill' was using his hand wrapper to wrap a particulary unstable load, thus was not paying attention to me. I turned off his propane.

so he finishes and climbs on and puts his load on the industrial wrapper and parks. By this time i have guessed that his forklift will run a long time on very little propane.

so i go over and, while crouching behind his forklift, i totaly disconnect his propane tank. he still has not noticed.

as his load is a big one it is taking a bit of extra time to wrap so i flip the latches and pull his tank right off...

so far so good.

I run (litrally) about fifteen feet and set down the tank, and go back to loading my own forklift.

I look up as he starts his forklift (believe it or not, he has not noticed the missing tank!)

He gets all the way out to the dock (100-150 feet) and sets down his load. FINAALY his forklift dies. so he reaches back to turn it on....you get the picture...

I am the King!!

(ok, so trhe next day another of my co-workers, 'Justin' stole my forklift and left the propane tank....)

but now the whole joke has kinda lost its fun....

Time Off

So I have had the last two days off (as per usual) and i am getting ready to return to work.

Yesterday was fun though. I spent the whole day in town with my brother just "hangin".

we did some shopping (sound equipment and videogames) and we caught a movie, (stealth, see movie of the week).

later we met up with a friend and dropped by a bar. (or rather the resturant side as my brother is underage) we ate and drank (pop) and chatted up the waitress, who despite my best efforts, focused on my friend (who is happily dating already). the food was good though!

today has been much more layed back. I got up late and spend the morning/afternoon, cleaning my van. i vacumed the whole interior and deep dusted the dash and all other plastic parts. then i took a good scrub brush and washed it down outside as well.

nice and shiny!

I have to be going to bed soon but i thought i would post here first. (look for updates at least once a week probably every saturday night (as is today).

later!

Work...so bloody LONG!

ok. my average work day is 12 hours...

last night it was longer.
I got to work at 12:20pm due to an early start (i'll cover that later) and i left work at 2:00am. i got home at about 3:20am and i fell asleep at least twice on the way home...only the rumble strips at the edge of the road woke me up!

good news is i got a new vehical...my car had wiring problems and my dad ended up accedentaly frying the wiring harness...so now i have a 1990 dodge caravan...c/w $230-$300 Cd player!!! it is SO COOL!

it is from BC which is why i left early...i had to get it inspected (we had replaced a left from spring)

but now i have a couple f 200W 6x9 speakers in it and i can rock all the way to work!

heheh

thats all for now folks...
